Abstract
This paper discusses the description of fluid drainage from an orifice. Solving the
differential equations formulated from the Bernoulli’s equation and comparing the solution with experimental data, show that, if water from a given geographical area settled for more than four hours, that amounts to flooding and more surface drainage required for easy and timely run
off. This paper emphasizes on description of fluid drainage from an orifice. It highlights some key points such as: Introduction, Bernoulli’s equation, Formalism, Dimensional analysis,
Method of Solution, Results, Experimental setup for Model Validation, Experimental
Procedure, Discussion, Conclusion and recommendations.
